Polly Ericksen on the need to embrace systems approach in highlighting links between agriculture and nutrition

At the 2020 resilience conference held in Addis Ababa in May 2014, Polly Ericksen was a panelist during the side event on ‘Healthy People, Resilient Systems’. She emphasized that while an evidence gap has been identified, the systems approach plays a major role in demonstrating links between agriculture and nutrition. Ericksen asserted that the systems approach will help in setting up carefully though out research hypotheses that address the pitfalls faced by the agriculture and nutrition community.
